COI for Manufacturing Congratulates the 2010 Manufacturer of the Year Winners

Last month, Governor Sonny Perdue presented three Georgia companies with the Manufacturer of the Year Award. In conjunction with Manufacturing Appreciation Week, the winners were announced at an awards luncheon on April 15th. The award is given to small, medium and large companies that exhibit a high degree of corporate responsibility, economic impact on Georgia and workforce excellence.
2010 recipients include:
- Frito Lay (large manufacturer-Perry)
- The Boeing Company (medium manufacturer-Macon)
- Star Granite and Bronze (small manufacturer-Elberton)
